BOD Load (kg/d) = Flow (KLD) × BOD_in (mg/L) ÷ 1000

Aeration Volume (m³) = BOD Load ÷ (F/M × MLSS)

# Where: F/M = 0.05 kg BOD/kg MLSS/d; MLSS = 3000 mg/L

HRT (hrs) = Aeration Volume ÷ Flow × 24

Sludge (kg/d) = BOD Removed × 0.6 (yield factor)
