About Liquid Nitrogen Generating Systems
Liquid nitrogen generating systems use industrial cryocooler technology to liquefy gaseous nitrogen directly at your facility, producing liquid nitrogen (LN₂) at –196°C (77°K) on a continuous basis. This eliminates the need for cryogenic tanker deliveries, insulated bulk storage vessels, and the supply chain risks associated with remotely produced liquid nitrogen.
Two standard capacity configurations are available: 500W at 77°K for small to medium demand applications, and 1,500W at 77°K for higher-throughput processes. Custom capacities can be engineered for specific production requirements. The cryocooler units are rated for 50,000+ hours of operational life — approximately 5–6 years of continuous operation before major service — providing exceptional reliability and low lifecycle cost.
These systems are particularly valuable for facilities in remote or inland locations where liquid nitrogen tanker access is infrequent or expensive, and for processes requiring a continuous uninterrupted supply of liquid cryogen where tanker scheduling creates operational risk.
