Textile dyeing and printing units in Naroda and Vatva face GPCB ZLD mandates enforced since 2015–2016. Textile effluent is among the most difficult to treat — high TDS (8,000–20,000 mg/L), reactive and vat dyes, caustic soda from mercerisation, and high COD. Vatva GIDC Chemical Effluent Complexity
