Compressed Air Dryers & Filtration
Refrigerated and desiccant dryers up to 6,000 SCFM and 10,000 psig, with process air filtration compatible with Donaldson, Parker, and Balston elements
Overview
About Compressed Air Dryers & Filtration
Compressed air dryers remove water vapor from compressed air streams to prevent corrosion, contamination, and freeze damage in downstream equipment, instrumentation, and processes. Two primary drying technologies are available: refrigerated dryers, which cool the air to condense and drain water (typical pressure dew point +3°C); and desiccant regenerative dryers, which adsorb moisture onto a desiccant bed to achieve pressure dew points as low as –40°C or –70°C for critical applications.
Refrigerated dryers are available up to 5,000 SCFM and are the standard choice for general industrial compressed air systems. Desiccant regenerative dryers are sized up to 6,000 SCFM for higher-flow requirements. High-pressure versions are available for system pressures up to 10,000 psig for specialized industrial and gas applications where standard dryers would not be rated.
Process air filtration systems remove oil aerosols, solid particles, and odors to the levels required by food, pharmaceutical, and chemical manufacturing standards. Filter housings are compatible with Donaldson, Parker Hannifin, and Balston filter elements, allowing customers to use their preferred supplier and locally available replacement elements for ongoing maintenance.
